Carmen Velazquez
President & CEO
Carmen has spent over 25 years serving the community in the court system of the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Florida. During this time she was a member of the Florida Governors Task Force on Domestic Violence and of the Orange County Sheriff's Office Fatality Review Committee. She was a two time President of the Hispanic and Professional Business Women's Association and has been the recipient of numerous awards for her community involvement and is featured on a weekly radio show for the Hispanic community. Carmen currently serves as the Chair for the Mental Health Association and the non-profit Apopka Family Learning Center benefiting minority children and their family's. She opened Biohazard Response, Inc. in 2003 and has over 8 years experience in Crime and Trauma Scene and Blood Cleanup.

Michael Nestved
Director of Operations
Michael is one of the few individuals in the United States with more than 20 years experience in the cleanup of crime and trauma scenes. He began his career in the cleaning industry in 1987. He performed what would be the first in a long list of biohazard cleanups in 1988. In 1989, Michael opened his own cleaning and restoration service and for the next 14 years performed blood, crime and trauma scene cleanups along with these services. Recognizing the need for a full time biohazard clean up service in Central Florida, he assisted Carmen with the opening of Biohazard Response, Inc. in 2003. In 2008, he closed his cleaning and restoration company and brought his 20 plus years of experience over to Biohazard Response, Inc., where he now serves as Operations Director.
